This former warehouse – turned nightclub – underwent an extensive redesign to become our (now) multi-award winning, Ivy House. Much to our excitement, the renovation exposed a beautiful wall of cream city brick behind the stage — a Milwaukee staple jackpot! To us, it’s all about how you feel when you walk into a space. The right blend of uniqueness and detail, but with just enough to allow you to dream up your own, styled event.
Live greenery inside and out is important to us — so installing skylights and a functioning glass garage door to allow light to pour in all year round was a no-brainer. This natural light keeps the photos stellar and the plants happy. The statement bar was crafted from bleacher boards from Grafton Middle School (seat numbers still intact!) to re-purpose materials and for a unique aesthetic. Ivy hangs from the bar’s pergola and the ballroom’s beams.
Fernweh Patio Bar was created as an extension of the interior space to match the same ivy-drenched decor. The 360-degree concrete-clad bar allows for a quick round of drinks and easy conversation at the corners.
The Penthouse, also used as a get-ready suite, has all the amenities needed to feel right at home. And the Green Room, right off the main ballroom, is the perfect place to sneak away to if you need to catch your breath or prepare for the next main event.
So that’s a bit about us – care to tell us a bit about you? Hop on over to the contact section — we’d love to chat!

In 2010, Milwaukee Airwaves was founded by Ramsey Renno and Tyler Curran with a passion for music and entertaining. As Airwaves grew, they knew they wanted to provide more for Milwaukee couples, thus Two Birds Event Group was born in 2016. Since then Two Birds has added Ivy House, Filament, The Starling, The Society and now, The Journey – Event Planning. All together, Two Birds Event Group hosts over 500 events a year.
The Ivy House is a beautiful venue in the Walker’s Point neighborhood in downtown Milwaukee. It has an indoor and outdoor space that can be rented for a wide range of events. The owners and team are incredible and go above and beyond for wonderful customer experiences prior to and during events. My wedding reception was at Ivy House and the entire staff was helpful in ensuring everything ran smoothly and looked beautiful. The outdoor space is large and designed with all the right details – lots of landscaping, a large bar, outdoor fireplaces, etc. Can’t say enough good things about The Ivy House, the owners, & staff! Love them
